Lib Dems Ask The People in Lewisham West & Penge

Lib Dem parliamentary spokesman for Lewisham West & Penge, Cllr Alex Feakes, has launched a huge 'Ask the people' questionnaire in the constituency. Over 25,000 homes will get a Residents' Survey this year, which covers questions on crime, environment, health and education.

"I'm keen to know what people think on these key issues," says Alex. "All too often, residents views go unheard by politicians, local councils and the government, and we're seeking to redress this."

Surveys will be hand delivered over the summer and autumn in Forest Hill, Sydenham, Bellingham, Crystal Palace and Penge. The results will help the Liberal Democrats understand local concerns and needs, and lead to campaigns for improvements in the area.

"We want to hear from you - if you get a survey through your door, make sure you return it as soon as possible" said Alex.
