Library / Pools / Louise House update

12.00.00am UTC (GMT +0000) Mon 24th Sep 2007

Town centre users will have noticed that the refurbishment work on the Library is in full swing and more or less on schedule for reopening in December. However, work on the Pools site does not seem to be progressing as quickly, so we will be pressing the council's estates department on this matter.

The council is now turning its attention to the future of Louise House, the building between the Pools and the Library. There are as yet no firm plans, though preliminary ideas are for the site to be used for adult education and for the forecourt area to be landscaped.
